UIN Jakarta Opens Independent New Student Admission Programs, Including Highly Accredited Islamic Study Programs

Rectorate, UIN News Online – UIN Jakarta is currently offering prospective students the opportunity to join through the Special Program for Independent Student Admission pathway. It is an important alternative for attracting students with a strong interest in UIN Jakarta's leading study programs, especially in religion studies. Online registration is open from August 2-7, 2025, through the official website https://admisi.uinjkt.ac.id.

This special pathway offers both dedicated Islamic study programs and modern sciences, covering education, religion, law, and economic scopes. There are 16 programs: Social Sciences Education, Biology Education, Physics Education, Arabic Language and Literature, Islamic History and Civilization, Translation (Tarjamah), Religious Studies, Sufism, Comparative Madhab, Islamic Economic Law, Islamic Criminal Law, Islamic Guidance and Counseling, Islamic Community Development, Dirasat Islamiyah, Islamic Economics, and Sharia Banking.

The Head of the Information and Public Relations Center at UIN Jakarta, Zaenal Muttaqin, M.A., stated that this pathway demonstrates UIN Jakarta's commitment in expanding access to higher education based on the integration of Islamic and modern sciences.

"We designed this Special Excellence Program for students to have greater access to higher education as widely as possible. Students who excel and are passionate about developing their competencies in Islamic scholarship, science, and social studies are highly recommended to join this admission program. We want to demonstrate UIN Jakarta's commitment in producing adaptive graduates, capable of handling the global dynamics and the needs of the society," he added.

General registration requirements for the applicants include graduating in 2025, 2024, or 2023 from an accredited high school (Senior High School/Islamic Senior High School/Vocational School/equivalent), Islamic boarding school (pesantren), or equivalent educational institution. They are also required to have a National Student Identification Number (NISN), a diploma or Graduation Certificate (SKL), and be a maximum age of 25 for those enrolled in Package C or PKPPS. Furthermore, applicants must be physically and mentally healthy, drug-free, and pay a registration fee of IDR 345,000.

Registration is conducted entirely online by accessing https://admisi.uinjkt.ac.id and select the "Program Unggulan Khusus" pathway. Next, participants must fill out the registration form and agree to the terms and conditions, and they will receive a registration number, ID, and PIN. After receiving the code, participants must done the payment through one of UIN Jakarta partner banks. The process continues by printing a participant card by logging back into the system using the same ID and PIN. After printing the card and completing the follow-up form, participants are declared as legally registered to attend the examination.

The important stages in this selection process begin with registration and payment on August 2–7, 2025, followed by filling out the forms and printing the exam cards on August 2–8, 2025. Prospective participants will take a trial run of the Electronic Selection System (SSE) on August 11, 2025, and then take the actual examination on August 12–13, 2025. Final results will be announced on August 15, 2025, and successful participants will be asked to upload their documents for Single Tuition Fee (UKT) on August 16–19, 2025.

The next stage will be the announcement of the UKT groups on August 20, followed by UKT clarification on August 20–21, and a meeting to determine the clarification results on August 22, 2025. The final clarification results will be announced on August 23, and participants can make UKT payments until August 25, 2025. Printing of Student Identification Numbers (NIM) is scheduled for August 25, 2025, while the Introduction to Academic Culture for Freshmen (PBAK) will take place from August 26–29, 2025.
