UIN Jakarta Officially Launches SIMANTRA to Simplify Campus Facility Complaint Management

Diorama Room, UIN Online News — UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta officially launched the Integrated Facility Complaint Management System (SIMANTRA) on Thursday (June 5, 2025). This digital innovation aims to transform the management of campus facility complaints into a more efficient, integrated, and responsive system tailored to the needs of the academic community.

The launching event took place in the Diorama Room of UIN Jakarta, attended by supporting staff including security personnel, cleaners, service staff, and drivers. Also present were the Head of the Subdivision of General Affairs and Household, Abdul Halim Mahmudi, S.H.I., and the Head of the Planning and Finance Bureau, Drs. Teguh Sarwono, M.Si.

In his presentation, Abdul Halim emphasized the urgency of adopting technology in modern campus services. “SIMANTRA allows all academic community members to report facility issues more easily and systematically, enabling faster response and resolution,” he explained.

Furthermore, Abdul Halim invited the entire academic community to actively engage with SIMANTRA in order to foster a more comfortable, orderly, and responsive campus environment. “We encourage all students, lecturers, and education staff to use SIMANTRA to report any facility-related complaints on campus,” he added.

Meanwhile, Drs. Teguh Sarwono expressed his full appreciation for this digital initiative as part of the campus governance modernization. “SIMANTRA is not only technically efficient, but it also reflects the institution’s commitment to providing the best services to the academic community,” he stated.

SIMANTRA is part of UIN Jakarta’s efforts to digitalize campus services, specifically in the management of facilities and infrastructure. The system is designed to receive, log, and follow up on various types of complaints regarding campus facilities quickly, efficiently, and in an organized manner. This innovation underscores UIN Jakarta’s seriousness in creating a comfortable and responsive academic environment.
