UIN Jakarta New Student Orientation Officially Ended

UIN Field, UIN News Online -  As scheduled, this morning, Thursday (8/30/2018) the introduction of Academic and Student Culture (PBAK) for UIN Jakarta new students (freshmen) in 2018/2019 academic year was officially closed at the UIN Jakarta field. The closing of PBAK was marked by red and white flag mosaics attraction in the form of PBAK 2018 by thousands of freshmen

The closing event was also attended by the Mayor of South Tangerang, Banten, Airin Rachmi Diany and the Chair of the Indonesian MPR Zulkifli Hasan. Even from UIN Jakarta, Yusron Razak, Deputy Chancellor for Student Affairs and Head of Academic, Student, and Cooperation Bureau, Zaenal Arifin.

Tangsel Mayor Airin Rachmi Diany, who arrived early, gave her enthusiasm to the freshmen. Even Airin also invited freshmen from Tangsel City and outside Tangsel City to stand on the stage. Airin included asking them to give their views on regional development in South Tangerang.

The welcome of Tubagus Chaeri Wardana's wife only lasted about 15 minutes. After that she went down and said goodbye as she greeted the freshmen in the field.

Then, the Indonesian Chief of Indonesia People’s Consultative Assembly (MPR) Zulkifli Hasan appeared. However, he did not sit in a chair but immediately went up on the stage. Zulkifli's presence was none other than giving a national speech as well as ending PBAK activities. Zulkifli delivered a speech with enthusiasm. Feeling his speech wasn’t that persuasive, he went down the stage and visited the student who were sitting in the field.

Zulkifli then continued his speech with more excitement. He talked a lot about national leadership, including himself who is currently the Chair of the Republic of Indonesia MPR.

Nationality oration lasts approximately one hour. After that Zulkifli immediately bid them goodbye while inviting the freshmen to take pictures with him.

PBAK was held since August 29, 2018 and was attended by approximately 6,500 students. In addition to being introduced to the culture and academic traditions on campus, freshmen are also encouraged to excel and improve competitiveness in the global era. (usa)
