UIN Jakarta Neutralizes Administrative PTUN Ruling to Protect Educational Continuity and State Asset Ownership Across BLU Units
JAKARTA, UIN Online News – Formally de-escalating potential public misconceptions surrounding a recent Administrative Court ruling Legal Counsel for UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta Alwanih has officially confirmed that the court's decree carries zero structural impact on the operational management of the university's Public Service BLU educational units. Released in response to the Jakarta Administrative Court's ruling regarding Ministry of Religious Affairs Decree Number 1543 of 2025 the legal team emphasized that the administrative dispute remains strictly confined to a single third-party foundation named Yayasan Ketilang Insan Mandiri.
Addressing the technical mechanics of the litigation Counsel Alwanih revealed that two co-plaintiff foundations formally withdrew their claims during active court proceedings leaving the final judicial evaluation strictly isolated to administrative disputes involving a single entity.
The university’s legal counsel emphasized that the Administrative Court’s decision resolves isolated foundation paperwork rather than the operational legitimacy or statutory authority of the schools managed under UIN Jakarta’s BLU umbrella.
"The ruling issued by the court addresses administrative disputes involving a single foundation and does not alter the underlying legal status or daily operations of the educational units managed under UIN Jakarta," Legal Counsel Alwanih asserted to the press. "The administrative management of these educational institutions continues to operate fully under Ministerial Decree Number 1543 of 2025 upholding total legal certainty public service continuity and the absolute protection of state assets."
Counsel Alwanih clarified that from an administrative law perspective primary educational units including the Pembangunan Islamic Kindergarten Pembangunan Islamic Elementary School and Ketilang Kindergarten have historically operated under the direct authority of the Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta Foundation. This governance structure was reaffirmed through an official Transfer of Management Agreement executed on May 7 2026 ensuring seamless administrative alignment.
Crucially the institutional structure establishes that the Rector of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta serves ex-officio as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta Foundation. This integrated governance structure guarantees complete managerial continuity between the state university administration and the underlying educational institutions.
The university legal team reassured students parents and academic staff that all teaching and learning activities remain entirely uninterrupted with the rights of all educational stakeholders fully protected under Indonesian law. Respecting the judicial process while defining its strict boundaries UIN Jakarta urges the public to reject incomplete information confirming that all BLU educational services will continue to operate with uncompromised professional standards.
