UIN Jakarta Named Best Work Unit for Budget Management Over IDR 800 Billion by KPPN Jakarta IV
Jakarta, UIN Online News — UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta has once again achieved a proud national accomplishment, being recognized as the Best Work Unit I in the category of budget management with an allocation exceeding IDR 800 billion for Semester II of 2024. This prestigious award comes from the State Treasury Service Office (KPPN) Type A1 Jakarta IV. The recognition was formalized by the Decree of the Head of KPPN Type A1 Jakarta IV Number KEP-19/KPN.1204/2025.
The award certificate was personally presented by the Head of KPPN Jakarta IV, Made Cana Armaya, at the KPPN Jakarta Office on Monday (June 23, 2025). According to the decree, UIN Jakarta successfully recorded an Indicator of Budget Implementation Performance (IKPA) score of 96.31, the highest among other large work units within KPPN Jakarta IV, such as BPKP (95.29) and the Directorate of Road Transport (95.2).
Head of UIN Jakarta's Planning and Finance Bureau, Teguh Sarwono, M.Si., who received the award, expressed gratitude for UIN Jakarta's achievement. He also conveyed appreciation for the support from UIN Jakarta's leadership, which contributed to the excellent budget performance.
“Thank you, Rector, and all other leaders for your support, which allowed us to achieve Best Work Unit I for budget management with an allocation over IDR 800 billion. This is the result of hard work and good coordination from the entire team,” he explained.
UIN Jakarta Rector, Prof. Asep Saepudin Jahar, M.A., Ph.D., welcomed this achievement as a testament to the solid collaboration among units within the university. “Alhamdulillah, congratulations and success. We have gradually succeeded in elevating UIN's reputation,” he gratefully remarked.
According to him, this achievement is also the result of excellent teamwork. “This is the result of good cooperation from the team. Congratulations to the Vice Rector for General Administration, the Head of the Planning and Finance Bureau, and the entire finance and planning team of UIN Jakarta,” he acknowledged.
It is known that UIN Jakarta is one of the State Islamic Religious Higher Education Institutions (PTKIN) under the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia that holds Public Service Agency (BLU) status. With this status, UIN Jakarta is required to implement best practices in financial management to enhance the quality of education, research, and community service in a more professional and accountable manner.
The award from KPPN itself demonstrates UIN Jakarta's commitment to implementing good financial governance and efficient budget management, with a tangible impact on strengthening the institution's reputation. (zm)
