UIN Jakarta-MPR RI holds FGD on state finance and APBN

Bintaro, UIN News Online – In order to obtain formulas, system, structures and postures of the state budget (APBN) in accordance with the 1945 constitution Chapter VIII which concerning financial matters, the Research Institute of the People's Consultative Assembly of the Republic of Indonesia (MPR RI) in collaboration with Sharia and Law Faculty (FSH) of UIN Jakarta holds focus group discussion (FGD) entitled “Keuangan Negara dan Anggaran Pendapatan Belanja Negara”, Thursday (04/04/2019) at Hotel Santika, Bintaro, South Tangerang.

Present as speakers, Abdul Ghani Abdullah, Indo Yama Nasarudin, and Muhamad Nadratuzzaman Hosen. Also present in the event, Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis, Head of MPR RI Research Institute Rully Chairul Azwar, Dean of Sharia and Law Faculty Ahmad Tholabi Karlie, and academic community of FSH UIN Jakarta.

This event is expected to produce several outputs that can be a reference for MPR leaders in advising other state institutions in carrying out state finances and the state budget. The results of this study can also be a reference for higher education institutions as a part of civil society in terms of state finance and the state budget according to the 1945 Constitution. Another formula is the state budget must be implemented in a responsible way, which means that there must be sanctions as a form of accountability. Whether a failure in implementing the State Budget means to commit a disgraceful act as referred to Article 7A of the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia. (usa)
