UIN Jakarta Launches Voice Hunt 2026 to Scout Elite Musical Talent for Major University Stages
JAKARTA, UIN Online News – Capturing the high-stakes energy of television talent shows, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta hosted the intense semifinal round of Voice Hunt 2026 at the iconic Harun Nasution Auditorium on Monday, July 27, 2026. Narrowing down a competitive preliminary pool of 120 student auditionees to an elite roster of 20 semifinalists, the university-wide singing championship serves as a flagship highlight celebrating UIN Jakarta’s upcoming 69th Anniversary.
The high-profile judging panel featured prominent musical figures, including alumnus songwriter Roy Haris Chandra alongside national Quranic recitation champion and FITK academic lecturer Atiqotul Fitriyah, M.Hum.
Speaking on behalf of university leadership, Head of the Student Affairs Team Muhammad Furqon, M.A., revealed that winning Voice Hunt 2026 is far from a mere ceremonial trophy. Instead, selected vocalists earn high-visibility performance contracts across major state functions and national student competitions.
"The chosen winners from Voice Hunt 2026 will perform directly before national figures at UIN Jakarta's highest-profile assemblies," Muhammad Furqon announced. "This includes centerstage performances at the 141st Graduation Ceremony in September and the mandatory orientation welcoming over 9,000 incoming freshmen at PBAK 2026. Furthermore, top performers will receive official institutional backing as UIN Jakarta's delegates for national talent competitions."
Alongside institutional performance contracts, selected winners receive financial development grants. The student performers represent diverse faculties, with top vocalists including Naila Amani, Anang Anggi Dwi, Siti Khadijah Lubis, Balqis Durratul Hikmah, Annisa Fauziah Aprilia, Qinsansa Billia, Raissa Dwita Zahwa, Princess Afero, Sagita Lestari, Hasna Aliya, Abdullah Azzam, Nabila Filfaberi, Faza Imtihani, Aprina Mesa Gustin, Bulqaini, and Ayudhia Cahya Windari.
Beyond entertainment, Voice Hunt 2026 serves as a strategic non-academic talent scouting channel that directly contributes to the Rector's Key Performance Indicators (IKU) in student achievement.
The talent hunt operates under the grand banner of the 69th Anniversary SPECTRA 2026 theme—Synergy, Performance, Entertainment, Creativity, Togetherness, Recreation, and Achievement. Anchored by the upcoming SPECTRA Unity Fest 2026, the anniversary series blends creative arts, sports, and cultural showcases, proving that UIN Jakarta offers a dynamic, well-rounded ecosystem where academic rigor and world-class artistic talent thrive together.
