UIN Jakarta Launches Out-of-Province Student Admissions Track Utilizing National Computer-Based Test Scores

JAKARTA, UIN Online News – UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta has officially opened applications for its Non-Regular Independent Student Admission Selection (SPMB) based on the 2026 National Computer-Based Test (UTBK-SNBT) scores. The registration window launched on Thursday, June 4, 2026, and is specifically dedicated to high-achieving applicants residing outside Jakarta, Banten, and West Java provinces.

The UTBK-SNBT Score Track utilizes standardized results from Indonesia's joint national university entrance examination as its primary evaluation metric. Through this streamlined admissions pathway, external candidates are required to upload their official national testing certificates directly via the UIN Jakarta digital admission portal at https://penerimaan.uinjkt.ac.id.

The Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ahmad Tholabi, clarified that this dedicated track reinforces UIN Jakarta’s institutional commitment to providing wider access to top-tier graduates from remote regions across the Indonesian archipelago.

"The national UTBK-SNBT score serves as a highly verified instrument to map out the academic potential of university candidates. Therefore, UIN Jakarta is systematically opening its doors to students outside our immediate regional zones, enabling them to expand their potential across our premium undergraduate programs," he noted.

He added that regional diversity within the student body is a primary pillar that strengthens UIN Jakarta’s identity as a premier national campus.

Concurrently, the Head of the Bureau for Academic and Student Affairs (BAAK), Dr. Sri Ilham Lubis, urged prospective candidates to carefully review all structural requirements and administrative deadlines to ensure a smooth verification phase.

"We encourage eligible candidates to register immediately and submit all required official documents before the deadline. Accuracy during data input is critical to avoid technical discrepancies during the final institutional screening," she advised.

Eligible candidates can initiate the application process by creating a secure digital account on the central admission server, completing the administrative fee transactions, and uploading their official national examination certificates.
