UIN Jakarta Language Development Center Socializes Banten Province Language Ambassadors 2024
FITK, UIN Online News - UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta Language Development Center socializes the election of Banten Province Language Ambassador 2024 which took place in the theater room on the 3rd floor of the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Keguruan (FITK) UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta on Thursday, (14/03/2024).
The speech was represented by the Indonesian Language Coordinator of UIN Jakarta Language Development Center, Neneng Nurjanah, M.Hum., inviting UIN Jakarta students to be part of the Banten Provincial Language Ambassador. "I am proud when I see students in class who join Dubas (Language Ambassador)," she said.
This socialization also presented a number of Banten Province Language Ambassador delegates from UIN Jakarta. Delegates who became presenters included UIN Jakarta Graduate School alumnus Tubagus Muhammad Syukron, Best National Language Ambassador 2020 and UIN Jakarta Faculty of Dirasat Islamiah alumnus Abdillah El Habib, Best 2 National Language Ambassador 2021.
In delivering the material, Abdillah reminded the participants who attended the socialization of Banten Province Language Ambassadors 2024 about the Youth Pledge. The third Youth Pledge reads "We, the sons and daughters of Indonesia, uphold the language of unity, the Indonesian language". This is a very meaningful oath for young people in Indonesia to always maintain the Indonesian language both nationally and internationally.
As an undergraduate student at the time, Syukron shared his strategy for dividing his time while in the Banten Province Language Ambassador quarantine while writing his thesis. Abdillah, who participated in the Banten Provincial Language Ambassador program at that time, also did not interfere with his studies so he managed to graduate in less than four years.
The two presenters stood simultaneously telling their experiences and struggles when participating in the Banten Provincial Language Ambassador by carrying the good name of UIN Jakarta. Not infrequently, both took turns throwing questions so that the participants present had an overview of the Banten Provincial Language Ambassador which is held annually.
The socialization of Banten Province Language Ambassador 2024 was closed with a stunning performance from two students of the Indonesian Literature Language Education Study Program of UIN Jakarta, Wisnu Ahmad Rifai and Muhammad Rafi who performed Acoustic Literature (Sakustik).

Registration deadline: March 17, 2024
Participant Criteria:
- Indonesian citizen;
- Domiciled or have daily activities in Banten Province;
- At least 18 years old and maximum 25 years old in August 2024;
- Not yet married;
- Proficient in Indonesian, Banten local language, and foreign language;
- Never been involved in criminal acts or drug abuse; and
- Have insight and skills in regional or Indonesian literature and culture.
Administrative Requirements:
- Portfolio;
- Half and full body photos;
- Scan of identity card (KTP);
- Scan of domicile letter (for applicants who do not have Banten Province ID card);
- Scan of student identification card (KTM);
- Essay writing work;
- Letter of intent (stamped);
