UIN Jakarta is Elected as the Most Favorite Law Campus 2018
Rectorate Building, UIN News Online - UIN Syarif Hidayatullah successfully entered in the ranks of the most favored law campus 2018 in a survey of Hukumonline and Youth Manual, Wednesday (05/09/2018). This achievement is based on the assessment of national prestigious law firms, ranging from the number of graduates absorbed in the law firm to the satisfaction of the quality of its graduates.
The survey conducted by Hukumonline and Youth Manual at 34 national law firms placed UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta in the top 15 of the most favored law campus in 2018 from a total of 78 national campuses that are included in the ranking. In this ranking, the survey was conducted by reaching public and private universities accredited A and B.
In the top 15, UIN Jakarta is behind a number of campuses with traditions of law (conventional) such as UI, UNPAD, UGM, UNAIR, and UNAND. Even so, UIN Jakarta is still at the forefront of some other favorite law campuses such as UNBRAW, UII, BINUS, and UNS.
In fact, if the rating is narrowed based on the status of State College (PTN) accredited A, the position of UIN Jakarta increased significantly to the eighth with a score of 10.40. In this position, UIN Jakarta is behind seven more established legal campuses such as UI, UNPAD, UGM, UNDIP, USU, UNAIR, UNAND. Even so, UIN Jakarta is in front of UNIBRAW and UNS.
The survey itself was conducted by the nation's leading national legal media, Hukumonline, at 34 major national law firms. While the assessment covers five aspects, namely the acceptance level of alumni, the number of graduates promoted after 1 year of working in the law firm, the number of graduates received in law firm less than 6 months after graduation, the number of graduates from the college who work in the law firm has been licensed to practice advocate or has passed the examination of profession advocate, and scores of study program accreditation.
In the conclusion of his research, Hukumonline hopes the survey results can be valuable information for campuses, prospective students, and law firms. For law college is an important input based on the voice of its graduate users in the world of work, in this case legal services industry.
