UIN Jakarta Hosts EXPOSE 2025, Inspiring Thousands of Prospective Students

Student Center Hall, UIN News Online – UIN Jakarta successfully held its annual EXPOSE 2025 event, an informative showcase designed to introduce undergraduate programs to prospective students. Held on Thursday (06/02/2025), the event attracted over 1,000 students and teachers from senior high schools, vocational schools, Islamic high schools, and Islamic boarding schools across Jakarta, Banten, and neighboring regions.

The event was inaugurated by Professor Asep Saepudin Jahar, Ph.D., Rector of UIN Jakarta, who highlighted the role of education in shaping students’ futures.

“Education is not just about gaining knowledge; it is also about building integrity and character. UIN Jakarta is committed to providing students with both Islamic and scientific knowledge, ensuring they become well-rounded professionals who can contribute to society,” he stated.

Comprehensive Information on Study Programs and Admissions

As part of EXPOSE 2025, the Head of the Information and Public Relations Center, Zaenal Muttaqin, B.Th., M.R.E., introduced UIN Jakarta’s diverse faculties, study programs, and accreditation status.

“EXPOSE 2025 is an opportunity for prospective students to explore the faculties and highly accredited study programs at UIN Jakarta. We hope that this event helps them choose programs that best align with their interests and future aspirations,” he explained.

During the event, participants received detailed information on study programs, admission pathways, scholarship opportunities, and campus facilities. Faculty representatives engaged with students through exhibitions, Q&A sessions, and direct explanations of the university’s admission process.

Many students expressed their enthusiasm for joining UIN Jakarta. Ikhsan Firmansyah, a student from SMA-IT Insan Madani 8, shared his thoughts on choosing Economics and Development Studies as his preferred major.

"I am interested in this program because of the wide career opportunities it offers, and I want to be involved in community development," he said.

Students also had the chance to participate in a variety of engaging activities, including; Talk shows on student admission types, sharing sessions with alumni, campus tours using UIN Jakarta’s electric buses (BILIS), faculty exhibitions, and art performances by Student Activity Units (UKM)

With EXPOSE 2025, UIN Jakarta reaffirms its commitment to academic excellence and student development. By providing clear and accessible information, the university ensures that prospective students can make well-informed decisions about their future education.
