UIN Jakarta Hosted The International Conference Titled "Innovation for Inclusion: Engineering and Science as Catalysts for Social Change”
Jakarta, UIN News Online - UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta hosted the Opening Ceremony of an international conference entitled “Innovation for Inclusion: Engineering and Science as Catalysts for Social Changes", on Thursday (5/12/2024). The conference, which raised the theme of innovation for inclusion, was held online for 2 days through a zoom meeting. The event was attended by more than 100 participants from the campus academic community by presenting professional speakers from various countries, including Algeria, Australia, and Russia.
Starting with a speech by the Head of the International Cooperation Service Center (PLKI), Prof. Maila Dinia Husni Rahiem, M.A., Ph.D., reported the extraordinary achievements related to scientific publications at UIN Jakarta. Prof. Maila revealed, “Currently, UIN Jakarta has produced 250-330 Scopus indexed documents every year. UIN Jakarta lecturers have successfully achieved our target to publish and publish Scopus indexed documents in the last five years,” she said. This achievement is possible due to close collaboration with leading publishers who support the publication process.
Director of the Institute for Research and Community Service (LP2M) UIN Jakarta, Prof. Amelia Fauzia, M.A., Ph.D expressed her gratitude for the publication of 170 papers that has been indexed in AIP Publishing. She added, “This conference is not only a bridge for researchers to do more research and publications, but also provides opportunities to create wider applications from their findings,” she explained.
UIN Jakarta Rector, Prof. Asep Saepudin Jahar, M.A., Ph.D., in the opening of this international conference appreciated the active participation of UIN Jakarta lecturers and academicians towards journal publications in AIP Publishing. "This conference will inspire new ideas, maintain collaboration, and strengthen the integration of science and engineering with humanitarian endeavors. We hope this conference will be a contribution to a better and sustainable future,” he said.
This conference is expected to not only serve as a place to share knowledge, but also to strengthen global collaboration in the field of science and engineering that is oriented towards humanity.
It is known that this international conference lasted for 2 days, namely from December 4, 2024 with speakers; Dr. Alina V. Vladimirova, Dr. Bayu Andalas, and moderated by Dzikri Rahmat Romadhon, M.Si. Then December 5, 2024 was attended by; Prof. Asep Saepudin Jahar, M.A., Ph.d, Prof. Amelia Fauzia, M.A., Ph.D, and Prof. Maila Dinia Husni Rahiem, M.A., Ph.D. The speakers were; Prof. Yuli Rahmawati, Ph.D, Munasprianto, Ph.D, Assoc. Prof. Riad Mansour, Ph.D, Dr. Artem Bezrukov, Assoc. Prof. Ritesh Chugh, and moderated by; Maya Defianty, Ph.D and Dzikri Rahmat Romadhon, M.Si.
