UIN Jakarta Host the UIN Alumni National Conference

Syahida Inn, UIN News Online – Again, UIN Jakarta hosted the Host the UIN Alumni National Conference at Syahida Inn Building, Campus II UIN Jakarta on Wednesday-Thursday, (03/ 21-22/ 2018). Last year, UIN Jakarta successfully organized a similar event.

The Chairman of IKALUIN Ahmad Zacky Siradj said that this conference aims to strengthen the synergy of UIN alumni who take part in all aspects of society, whether it be academic, entrepreneurship, economics, mass media, cultural arts and politics.

“Alumni of UIN Jakarta is the legitimate successor in continuing the efforts in the field of politics as well as in the field of entrepreneurship development," Said Zacky.

On the same occasion, Rector of UIN Jakarta Prof Dr Dede Rosyada welcomed this event. This will certainly inspire how alumni can provide great feedback their alma mater, especially UIN.

“UIN is expected to go forward and rise faster than other religious institutions under the auspices Ministry of Religious Affairs,” said Dede.

The conference itself was followed by representatives from 17 Islamic State Universities in Indonesia, including UIN Makassar, UIN Banjarmasin, UIN Banda Aceh, UIN Padang, UIN Mataram, UIN Malang, UIN Palembang, UIN Bandar Lampung, UIN Banten, UIN Sultan Pekanbaru, UIN Jambi, UIN Medan, UIN Surabaya, UIN Bandung, UIN Yogyakarta, UIN Semarang and UIN Jakarta.
