UIN Jakarta Holds virtual lecture on youth entrepreneurship

Rectorate, UIN News Online – UIN Jakarta, in collaboration with the Indonesian Ministry of Youth and Sports (Kemenpora RI) holds virtual lecture on youth entrepreneurship on Saturday, (09/04/2021).

By raising the theme “Entrepreneurship Pemuda di Era Digital Menuju Global”, the event was attended by the Assistant Deputy for Youth Entrepreneurship, Kemenpora RI Imam Gunawan, Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis, Chairman of PPSDM UIN Jakarta Munzier Suparta, and other resource persons.

Imam Gunawan in his opening remarks said that this activity aims to develop youth's interest in entrepreneurship.

“This activity aims to foster interest among young people for entrepreneurship. Therefore we are very excited to support and develop this entrepreneurial spirit of these young people,” he said.

The chairman of PPSDM UIN Jakarta Munzier Suparta also said, to organize the future, good preparation is needed. Therefore, the youth must be prepared immediately. He also said that he wanted to develop programs that support the youth development through entrepreneurship.

“We will develop, we will awaken our youth to look at a better future,” said Munzier.

Meanwhile, the Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis hope that the younger generation plays an active role in improving the welfare of the community.

“I believe that the younger generation is the foundation and hope of the nation who has many roles in changing people's lives, especially during this pandemic. Therefore, we must work hand in hand in improving people's welfare, reducing unemployment rate, and developing businesses potential,” said Rector. (usa/sam/mf)
