UIN Jakarta holds virtual graduation ceremony
Rectorate, UIN News Online – Due to Covid-19 pandemic, UIN Jakarta holds a virtual graduation ceremony for 451 graduates from 12 faculties and Graduate school (SPs) through zoom application and YouTube on Saturday (06/27/2020).
Present in the event, Rector and Vice Rectors of UIN Jakarta, university senate head, Faculty Deans, and Director of SPs UIN Jakarta. Also present in the event, Indonesian Home Affairs Minister Muhammad Tito Karnavian.
Rector of UIN Jakarta in her speech emphasized two important things that be considered at this time. First, we need to maintain and increase our productivity in the new normal era as it is today. The discipline attitude in maintaining personal and environmental health according to health protocols still needs to be considered so that we are always in a healthy condition.
“Secondly, we must foster and strengthen philanthropic culture, helping each other to reduce the impact of the Covid 19 Pandemic,” said Rector.
The Rector also invites all graduates to maintain the good name of UIN Jakarta alma mater, “We also hopes that the new graduate can continue their education to a higher level. S1 graduates can continue to S2, S2 graduates can continue to S3,” she added.
In line with Rector of UIN Jakarta, Indonesian Home Affairs Minister Muhammad Tito Karnavian in his speech also invites the UIN Jakarta graduates to play an active role in helping the nation to overcome the impact of Covid-19 pandemic.
“It does not need to be in the form of material, but it can also be in the form of ideas which will produce new innovations, such as making inexpensive masks and ventilators,” he said.
For information, 17 people are chosen as the best graduates based on their GPA (Grade Point Average); Suciyana Dewi (FITK) with 3.88 of GPA, Zakiyah Palaloi (FAH) with 3.71 of GPA, Cucu Setiawati (FU) with 3.82 of GPA, Mohammad Ali Haidar (FSH) with 3.96 of GPA, Laelatin Nafi’ah (FIDK) with 3.84 of GPA, Tarmizi (FDI) with 3.90 of GPA, Ilya Adista Pratiwi Kesdu (FPSI) with 3.73 of GPA, Nur Atikah (FEB) with 3.77 of GPA, Sarwan (FST) with 3.81 of GPA, Devi Ananda Putri (FIKES) with 3.55 of GPA, Abdou Barrow (FISIP) with 3.83 of GPA, and Ikram Syahrin Akbar (FK) with 3.03 of GPA.
For the faculty master’s program, Bina Prima Panggayuh (FITK Master’s program) with 3.93 of GPA, Roy Marhandra (FIDK Master’s program) with 3.93 of GPA, Rini Apriantini (FPSI Master’s program) with 3.68 of GPA, Erik Mahfud Fathoni (FEB Master’s program) with 3.71 of GPA.
And for the Graduate School (SPs) of UIN Jakarta, Lina Sobariyah (SPs master’s program) with 3.73 of GPA.
