UIN Jakarta Holds the Comemmoration of 73rd Indonesian Independence Ceremony

Student Centre Field, UIN NEWS Online - All academic community of UIN Jakarta held the Comemmoration of the 73rd Indonesian Independence (RI Anniversary) ceremony. The ceremony was held at the Student Center Hall (SC) on Friday (08/17). The ceremony commemorating the 73rd anniversary of the countrys independence began at 06.00 o'clock and highlighted by the hoisting of Indonesias red and white flag.

Acting as ceremonial inspector Rector of UIN Jakarta Prof. Dr. Dede Rosyada MA, while reading the text of Pancasila by Ade Sofyan Mulazid (Deputy Dean of Public Administration Faculty of Economics and Business), reading text Opening of the 1945 Constitution by Suparto (Deputy Dean of Academic Affairs of the Faculty of Da'wah and Science Communication), reading of the Proclamation by Muhammad Zuhdi (Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs of the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training), and reading of prayers by Nurul Irfan (Faculty of Sharia and Law lecturers). While acting as the ceremonial commander came from the Wiradharma Student Regiment (Menwa).

In his speech, Rector thanked all the members of UIN Jakarta who had attended the ceremony. The Rector hopes that with this historic moment, it can increase nationalism and patriotism which has implications for improving performance and dedication to the institution.

"UIN Jakarta carries a very heavy task in filling this independence, which is to educate the nation's successors to have good quality of knowledge and Islam," he said.

The Rector added that this independence can be achieved because of the unity, tolerance and sense of belonging among fellow heroes. Who are not prioritizing selfishness, but oriented towards the independence of the nation and state.

"This, of course, needs to be instilled in this beloved campus, mutual respect and respect for one's knowledge based on their educational background. Thus, the UIN Jakarta campus will progress faster and develop, "said the rector

For information, at the end of the rector's ceremony the name of the President of the Republic of Indonesia pinned the Satyalencana Karyasatya award to the UIN Jakarta academic community who have served 30 years, 20 years and 10 years.  (usa)
