UIN Jakarta holds PPID workshop

NICT, UIN News Online – Information Management and Documentation Officer (PPID) UIN Jakarta held a PPID Evaluation Workshop on Tuesday (02/15/2022) at the National Information and Technology Center (NICT) office.

“This workshop was carried out as an evaluation of the performance of the PPID UIN Jakarta succeeded in achieving the towards informative status,” said the chairman of PPID UIN Jakarta Afwan Faizin.

This is certainly a challenge for UIN Jakarta to make various improvements so that UIN Jakarta can achieve informative status this year.

“This activity was held in order to carry out these improvements and to equalize the perceptions of PPID administrators,” he said.

The Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis in her opening remarks appreciated the performance of the PPID UIN Jakarta which succeeded in bringing UIN Jakarta as towards informative campus in 2021.

“Our target in 2022 is to become an informative campus for public information services. So it is necessary to re-evaluate its management so that UIN Jakarta can be even better in serving the ummah,” said Rector Amany.

Several notes that need attention, continued Amany, on the PPID page it is necessary to include information on the evaluation of the 2017-2021 Strategic Plan, evaluation of the KPI, the Rector's work agreement with the Director General of Islamic Education of the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs, the Rector's IKU and the Director General of PKBLU at the Indonesian Ministry of Finance.

“We have to provide open information on our performance in the eyes of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and the Ministry of Finance,” said Rector.

He added that the 2021 evaluation of the performance of UIN Jakarta assessed by the Ministry of Religious Affairs, in this case the performance of the Rector of UIN Jakarta, had exceeded the IKU target, which was 150%.

“With this achievement, UIN Jakarta will receive additional remuneration at the end of 2021,” she added.

This achievement, he continued, cannot be separated from the continuous improvement of the management of UIN Jakarta by implementing modern strategies.

Amany hopes that with the improvement of the PPID, UIN Jakarta managers can know and follow the 2020-2024 UIN Jakarta Strategic Plan so the implementation and improvement can be directed.

“Please include the UIN Jakarta master plan on the PPID page, because that's history that has been funded by previous leaders,” said Rector Amany. (sam/mf/usa)
