UIN Jakarta Holds Pancasila Day Ceremony: Towards Golden Indonesia 2045

Student Center Field, UIN News Online - UIN Jakarta held a Pancasila Day ceremony at the student center field on Saturday (01/06/2024). Referring to the Circular Letter of the Secretary General of the Ministry of Religious Affairs No. 16 of 2024, the theme of the 2024 Pancasila Day celebration was "Pancasila, the Unifying Spirit of the Nation Towards Golden Indonesia 2045."

In addition to Vice-Rector for Student Affairs Prof. Ali Munhanif, M.A., Ph.D., Vice-Rector for General Administration Prof. Dr. Imam Subchi, M.A., also attended the ceremony. The event was attended by several civil servants (ASN) and non-ASN staff of UIN Jakarta.

Prof. Dr. Imam Subchi served as the ceremony inspector and delivered a speech. "We should be grateful as a diverse and multi-ethnic nation," he said. "The existence of Pancasila is a blessing from God Almighty for the Indonesian nation."

In this historic moment, Prof. Dr. Imam Subchi emphasized the need for continuous self-reflection as we approach 100 years towards a prosperous, independent, and sovereign Golden Indonesia. He also stressed that the values contained in Pancasila should be applied in daily life.

The ceremony involved the Student Activity Unit (UKM) Resimen Mahasiswa of UIN Jakarta. Muhammad Adan acted as the ceremony commander, while the platoon commanders were Ahmad Tegar Saputra, Abel Zahran Rizqullah, and Muhammad Habibi Abdulrahman Madani. The flag bearers were M. Fauzi Amru, Daniya Kautsaraini, and Tsaqib Amru Najy. Muhammad Akbar served as the conductor.

In addition to the students, the ceremony staff included the Head of the Legal Aid Center, Muhammad Ishar Helmi, SH. MH., who read the Pancasila text. The Preamble to the 1945 Constitution was read by the Head of the Research & Publishing Center, Siti Ummi Masruroh, M.Sc. The prayer was led by the Head of the Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) Mahad Al-Jamiah, Dr. M. Suryadinata, M.A.
