UIN Jakarta Holds Final Briefing for KKN 2022

Main Auditorium, UIN News Online – UIN Jakarta through Center for Community Service (PPM) holds final briefing for KKN (Community Service) 2022 held at Harun Nasution Auditorium, campus I of UIN Jakarta on Monday (07/25/2022).

Present in the event, Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis, Vice Rector for Student Affairs Arief Subhan, Chair of Institute for Research and Community Service Jajang Jahroni, Head of PPM UIN Jakarta Kamarusdiana, Head of Sub-Directorate for Research and Community Service of the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs Suwendi, and KKN field supervisors.

The final briefing was warmly welcomed by approximately 4,000 students who attended both offline and online.

The event invited four speakers, namely the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Uno, Deputy for Communication and Information of the State Intelligence Agency Wawan Purwanto, Head of Special Detachment 88 Marthinus Hukom, and Territorial Assistant to the Army Chief of Staff Karmin Suharma.

Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis in her opening remarks said KKN participants must take this moment seriously. KKN participants, said Amany, are not only equipped with knowledge, but also the ability and expertise to manage themselves in communicating with various groups in society.

“The younger generation should not feel inferior when expressing opinions. We need to make the most of this moment to inspire as many people as possible,” said Rector.

Amany further explained that KKN activities are the right moment to empower, serve, and inspire the community. “The younger generation is very potential and reliable,” she added.

As previously reported, UIN Jakarta will hold KKN in two provinces and three regencies, namely Banten (Lebak Regency and Tangerang Regency) and West Java (Bogor Regency). The KKN was attended by approximately 4,000 students from various study programs and will last for one month until August 2022. (ns/nmd/usa)
