UIN Jakarta Gears Up for UM-PTKIN 2025: Mandatory Guidelines All Test Participants Must Follow

Jakarta, UIN Online News — The Ujian Masuk Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Islam Negeri (UM-PTKIN) is set to be held simultaneously across Indonesia. UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta is among the campuses welcoming prospective students from various regions to participate in the selection process via the Electronic Selection System (SSE) on Sunday, June 8, 2025.

In an official statement, Chair of the 2025 National New Student Admission Committee (PMB), Prof. Dr. H. Masnun Tahir, M.Ag., emphasized the importance of adhering to all technical procedures and regulations to ensure a smooth and orderly examination. “Participants are required to comply with all technical provisions and examination rules. Discipline plays a vital role in the successful implementation of UM-PTKIN 2025,” he affirmed.

Mandatory Guidelines for UM-PTKIN Participants

  1. Exam Card Requirement
Each participant must print and bring their exam card, which serves as official proof of registration. Additionally, participants are required to watch the tutorial video on how to use the exam application, available at https://um.ptkin.ac.id under the tutorial section.

  2. Valid Identification
On exam day, participants must bring a valid ID (KTP, passport, or other photo ID) that includes their full name, place and date of birth, and a recent photo. Writing tools such as pencils or pens should also be prepared.

  3. Prohibited Items
To maintain exam integrity, communication devices (e.g., phones, smartwatches), cameras, calculators, and any notes/books are strictly prohibited. These must be stored in the participant’s bag and placed at the front of the exam room.

  4. Punctual Arrival
Participants should arrive at the exam site at least 30 minutes before the exam starts for identity verification and seating arrangements. Participants must sit in the designated seat based on their exam number and follow the assigned schedule and session.

  5. Health Protocols
All participants are required to wear face masks and practice physical distancing throughout the exam to protect everyone’s health and safety.

  6. Technical or Procedural Issues
Should any technical difficulties arise, participants must immediately report to the Room Supervisor (PJ-Ruang) or designated IT staff. For violations or procedural concerns, participants may file a report via the official complaints page at https://sapa.ptkin.ac.id.

  7. Compliance with Exam Procedures
The central committee stresses that all participants must follow every phase of the exam as scheduled. Any failure to comply with these rules may result in disqualification or cancellation of participation.

UIN Jakarta urges all UM-PTKIN 2025 participants to read, understand, and strictly follow the outlined regulations. Well-preparedness and adherence to the rules are key to ensuring a successful and fair selection process.
