UIN Jakarta Explores Cooperation with LKBN ANTARA

Jakarta, UIN News Online - State Islamic University (UIN) Jakarta held a Media Visit to Lembaga Kantor Berita Nasional (LKBN) Antara with the aim of initiating cooperation in the field of information and communication. This activity is an effort of UIN Jakarta in improving the quality of education and knowledge development in the era of globalization which is strongly influenced by information and technology.

The Media Visit was attended by the Head of Information and Public Relations Center Zaenal Muttaqien, MA, and staff members who have expertise in journalism and communication. They were warmly welcomed by the Head of Commercial Content and Cooperation Unit Panca Hari Prabowo, Esti Nurmi Oktaviani as Public Relations Manager at ANTARA and her staff.

In his speech, Zaenal revealed that the purpose of this Media Visit activity is to build synergy between the world of education and the media industry.

"We want to provide opportunities for students to better understand the media industry, as well as establish partnerships with LKBN Antara in various educational and research activities," said Zaenal, Tuesday (16/01/2024).

During the visit, the Media Visit participants had the opportunity to get to know more about LKBN Antara's operations, including the process of news production and information distribution. They also had the opportunity to have direct dialog with senior journalists who have long experience in journalism.

Head of Commercial Content and Cooperation Unit Panca Hari Prabowo, welcomed UIN Jakarta's initiative to visit the national news agency.

"We are pleased to see UIN Jakarta's enthusiasm in developing the quality of education in the field of communication and journalism. We hope this cooperation initiative can provide great benefits, both for UIN Jakarta students and for the development of journalism in the country," said Panca Hari Prabowo.

The initiation of cooperation between UIN Jakarta and LKBN Antara is expected to make a positive contribution in improving the quality of UIN Jakarta graduates in the field of communication and journalism and strengthening the role of LKBN Antara as a trusted information provider in Indonesia.
