UIN Jakarta Expands Higher Education Outreach at Edufair Hosted by Darul Qur'an Mulia Islamic Boarding School, Bogor

Bogor, UIN Online News — UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta continued its efforts to broaden access to higher education by participating in the Edufair organized by Pesantren Terpadu Darul Qur'an Mulia (DaQu Mulia) in Bogor, West Java. The event brought together leading universities from across Indonesia to introduce prospective students to various academic opportunities and university admission pathways for the 2026/2027 Academic Year.

Representing UIN Jakarta at the event were the university's Center for Information and Public Relations (PIH) team, who provided comprehensive information on the institution's academic offerings, admission procedures, scholarship opportunities, and campus life. The outreach program forms part of UIN Jakarta's ongoing commitment to connecting with prospective students from Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) and senior secondary schools throughout Indonesia.

During the presentation, the UIN Jakarta delegation introduced the university's diverse academic ecosystem, highlighting more than one hundred study programs across various disciplines, including Islamic studies, medicine, health sciences, economics and business, science and technology, law, social sciences, psychology, education, and communication. Participants also learned about the university's distinctive approach of integrating Islamic scholarship with contemporary sciences to prepare graduates capable of addressing both national and global challenges.

The session also outlined the various 2026 admission pathways, including the SNBP, SNBT, SPAN-PTKIN, UM-PTKIN, and Independent Admission (SPMB Mandiri) schemes. In addition, students received information about numerous scholarship opportunities available at UIN Jakarta, such as the KIP Kuliah, Public Service Agency (BLU) Scholarships, and financial assistance provided through banking partners and philanthropic institutions.

The presentation generated strong enthusiasm among students, who actively participated in the discussion by asking questions about selecting the right study program, preparing for university entrance examinations, career prospects after graduation, and opportunities for international academic mobility. The interactive dialogue reflected the students' growing interest in pursuing higher education and planning their future academic careers.

Through its participation in the Edufair, UIN Jakarta reaffirmed its commitment to making higher education more accessible while inspiring students from pesantren to pursue academic excellence. The university also emphasized its mission to cultivate graduates who combine intellectual competence, professional skills, and Islamic values to contribute meaningfully to society.
