UIN Jakarta Distributes Qurbani Meat Packages in 3 Areas

Rectorate, UIN News Online – UIN Jakarta on this Eid al-Adha slaughtered 29 sacrificial animals, consisting of 15 cows and 14 goats. The qurbani meat is distributed to the mustahiq (Deserver) in three locations. Chair of organizing committee Yusuf Rahman expressed his gratitude to the academic community and collaboration partners who entrust their sacrificial animals through UIN Jakarta. “On behalf of the committee, we are very grateful and apologize for any shortcomings,” said Yusuf in his speech on Tuesday (07/12/2022). According to Yusuf Rahman, come from the academic community and cooperation partners as well as individuals. Among them are from faculties and institutions at UIN Jakarta, Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI), Bank Mandiri (BM), Bank Mega Syariah (BMS), Bank Jawa Barat Syariah (BJBS), Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI), Bank DKI, Hayrat Indonesia Foundation, Foundation Eduversal Indonesia, and the Triguna Utama Syarif Hidayatullah Foundation, Jakarta. Based on field observations, the sacrificial animals distributed at FST were carried out at a slaughterhouse (RPH) in Parung, Bogor, which consisted of 11 cows and 13 goats. While the rest is carried out at several distribution points, such as at the UIN Jakarta Guest House Building in Cikuya, Solear, Tangerang, Banten (two cows), at the Faculty of Medicine (two cows and a goat). In addition to residents around the campus, some of the sacrificial meat was also distributed to a number of UIN Jakarta employees. (ns/dima/usa)
