UIN Jakarta Continues to Improve Public Information Services
NICT, UIN News Online – In line with the Public Information Openness (KIP) campaign launched by the government, UIN Jakarta is now ready to provide public information services to the public. This service is provided in order to maintain the accountability, transparency and responsiveness of UIN Jakarta as of UIN Jakarta as a public institution.
Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis positively welcomes the development of LIP UIN Jakarta which is managed by the Information and Documentation Management Team (PPID). The team is currently continuing to improve the LIP system and its content in order to provide a complete, detailed, and comprehensive service.
“I have seen all the LIP-PPID content created by the team. It’s good and informative,” said Amany to UIN News Online, Friday (09/04/2020).
She also added that all state universities (PTN), including state Islamic religious higher education institution (PTKIN) in Indonesia already developed LIP-PPID. All state campuses are asked to provide the widest possible information to the public and will receive a special assessment from the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology regarding public information disclosure.
Therefore, in recent years, UIN Jakarta has carried out a comprehensive digitization process in all fields. Various information regarding UIN Jakarta can now be seen and accessed by the public through the website, especially the website regarding LIP-PPID. The services provided cover various aspects, both academic and non-academic aspects.
UIN Jakarta has developed a computerized and digitalized system, so that all administrative services, financial, academic and non-academic activities, research and community service, including quality assurance, are now integrated and can be accessed easily.
In addition, the Rector also highly appreciated the entire performance of the LIP-PPID management team that had prepared and developed this information service by carrying out the process of extracting information from all institutions or work units at UIN Jakarta.
“Hopefully our performance will all get a good response from the community. UIN Jakarta also welcomes suggestions and input from the public for the improvement and development of information services in the future,” said Rector. (usa/ns)
