UIN Jakarta Conducts Socialization in Malang

Malang, UIN News Online - UIN Jakarta conducted socialization to a number of schools, madrasas, and Islamic boarding schools in East Java to recruit qualified new students. Besides to inform about the study program and the amount of tuition fees, the socialization team also provided information on entry selection paths, scholarships, student activities, to graduate prospects.

The socialization activity was led directly by the Head of the Academic Administration, Student Affairs and Cooperation Bureau (AAKK Bureau) Drs. Zainal Arifin M.Pd was accompanied by a number of sub-heads and staff of academic information and services. The target is to reach Batu City, Malang Regency and Surabaya City.

"East Java has madrassas and pesantren with potential students and students. And as a university, of course we want to accommodate students with potential academic and non-academic profiles, "he explained when starting the socialization in Surabaya on Wednesday (10/03/2018).

Several educational institutions visited included the Ar-Rohmah High School Foundation, the Salafiyah PPAI Darunnajah Islamic Boarding School, the Al-Maarif Singosari Islamic Boarding School, the Singosari al-Ishlahiyah Islamic Boarding School, the ar-Rifa'i Islamic Boarding School. In these various educational institutions, the socialization team presented profiles of study programs, tuition fees, to scholarships and student talent and interest development institutions.

Syifa Syarifah, one of the members of the socialization team said that the socialization activities were fully appreciated by educational institutions and students. According to her, many students asked about the study program and the existence of ma'had aly or student boarding schools.

"Alhamdulillah. Hopefully the socialization can encourage them to register to UIN Jakarta," she said. (usa-rs)
