UIN Jakarta conducts rapid antigen test on hundreds of employees

FK Building, UIN News Online – In order to anticipate the spread of the corona virus at UIN Jakarta, hundreds of employees were asked to take a rapid antigen test. This is done so that campus residents can be detected as early as possible if they are infected or exposed to the virus.

“This rapid antigen  test is carried out in anticipation of the increasing spread of the virus,” said the head of COVID-19 Response Acceleration Task Force of UIN Jakarta who also serve as the Dean of FK UIN Jakarta Heri Hendarto on Thursday (12/03/2020).

The rapid antigen test will be held in two days until Friday (12/04/2020). The test was conducted by the FK which involved dozens of medical officers. They are doctors and health workers who are also FK lecturers.

“Everything is carried out by the FK, both in the procurement of equipment and medical personnel,” said Hari.

According to Hari, the number of UIN Jakarta employees who underwent the rapid antigen test reached 500 participants, the test was also carried out with certain hours restrictions and strict health protocols.

Hari explained, the rapid antigen test is one way to detect the corona virus with a fast and more accurate diagnosis result. “The rapid antigen test helps detect the virus in a person within a few minutes. I hope there are no more cases of Covid-19 in the environment of UIN Jakarta” he concluded. (usa/ns)
