UIN Jakarta conducts benchmarking visit to UNM Makassar
Makassar, UIN News Online – In order to discuss University development strategy, UIN Jakarta conducts benchmarking visit to Universitas Negeri Makassar (UNM), Tuesday (06/18/2019). The visit, led by Vice Rector for Student Affair Masri Mansoer, was warmly welcomed by Rector of UMN Husain Syam, accompanied by Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Muharram, Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Arifuddin, and Vice Rector for Cooperation, Gufran.
Husain in his remarks highly appreciates the visit of UIN Jakarta to UNM. According to Husain, benchmarking visits in terms of Alumni management is considered very important because both campuses can complement each other.
“This will be a great lesson for all of us, especially that many UIN Jakarta alumni have important positions in this country,” said Husain.
Meanwhile, Vice Rector for Student Affairs of UIN Jakarta Masri Mansoer said that the purpose of this visit is to find out and get new knowledge related to the alumni management in other regions. “It turns out we can find different realities in other regions, and this can be a useful input for us,” he said.
For information, after visiting UNM the group also went to other campuses including UIN Alaudin, UNHAS, and PNUP Makassar. (usa)
