UIN Jakarta Community Service Center Holds Ebook and Journal Methodology Workshop for 2024 KKN Preparation

Diorama Room, UIN Online News - The UIN Jakarta Community Service Center (PPM) organized a Workshop on Ebook and Journal Methodology as a preparation session for the participants of the 2024 Community Service Program (KKN). The event aimed to equip participants with knowledge of systematic reporting for regular KKN activities and prepare them to carry out community service tasks more effectively.

The event took place in the Diorama Room and was attended by the chairperson or representative of each KKN group. The workshop was divided into two sessions: the first session for KKN groups 1-63, and the second session for groups 164-237. The event began with an opening speech from the Head of UIN Jakarta PPM, Ade Rina Farida, M.Si. In her address, she emphasized the importance of this preparation for the success of KKN activities in the field.

"We hope that students can accept the placement decisions for their KKN locations well and carry out this service task responsibly," said Ade Rina Farida.

Furthermore, the KKN locations for this year are quite different from last year, with the addition of three more locations including South Tangerang, Pandeglang, and Lebak. All relevant city governments strongly support the implementation of KKN to ensure that the areas around UIN can benefit from student service.

The workshop material was presented by three prominent speakers: Chandra Wirawan Anggi Mardiyono Chandra Wirawan and Noorlela Marcheta, lecturers from the Jakarta State Polytechnic (PNJ) and Digital Multimedia Engineering who teach service learning.

"Look at all the successes we have achieved that we should be proud of," said Chandra Wirawan in his presentation.

The topic of demographic and socio-cultural conditions became the focus of the next preparation. Mid-month, KKN participants will be sent directly to the locations to assess the situation and develop work programs to be implemented.

The theme of this year's KKN is the environment, with the hope that students can contribute to efforts to preserve and improve the quality of the environment in the areas where they serve.

This year, UIN Jakarta's KKN includes several programs: Regular KKN, In-Campus, Thematic, Religious Moderation, International Nationalism, and West Region Collaboration. Regular KKN is held in several areas including Bogor Regency, Tangerang, Pandeglang, Lebak, and South Tangerang City.

As for Thematic KKN, it is located in Lombok and Yogyakarta, Religious Moderation KKN in Bandung, and International KKN in Hong Kong, Japan, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, and Malaysia.
