UIN Jakarta Certifies 3,959 Educators and Launches Digital Knowledge-Sharing Platform
JAKARTA, UIN Online News – The Teacher Professional Education (PPG) Program under the Faculty of Educational Sciences (FITK) at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta officially certified a massive cohort of 3,959 professional in-service teachers representing Batch 4 Year 2025. The high-capacity graduation ceremony, convened at the Harun Nasution Auditorium on Friday, July 10, 2026, integrated thousands of regional participants outside the metropolitan area via synchronized digital broadcasting networks.
The massive certification framework operated under the strategic theme "Solidifying Impactful, High-Integrity, and Character-Driven Professional Teachers to Actualize Quality Education." The process directly executes the Decree of the Rector of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta Number 173 of 2026 regarding the formal graduation of the Batch 4 state-certified educators.
The executive assembly was attended by the Rector of UIN Jakarta, Prof. Asep Saepudin Jahar, Ph.D., the Director-General of Islamic Education at the Ministry of Religious Affairs RI, Prof. Dr. Phil. Sahiron, the Director of Islamic Religious Education, Dr. M. Munir, and the Director of Madrasah Teacher and Staff Development, Dr. Fesal Musaad. They were accompanied by regional ministerial directors and the Dean of FITK, Prof. Siti Nurul Azkiyah, Ph.D.
Following the statutory reading of the graduation decree by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs of FITK, Dr. Yanti Herlanti, the board verified the qualification of the 3,959 candidates across four critical specializations: Early Childhood Islamic Education (GKRA), Theology and Ethics (Akidah Akhlak), Arabic Linguistics, and Islamic Cultural History.
In his executive address, Rector Asep Saepudin Jahar asserted that certified educators must transcend basic knowledge-transfer functions, operating instead as premier behavioral and moral exemplars for their students.
"You officially function as institutional role models for the community. Display absolute professionalism in your daily execution, maintain high presentation standards, and place the preservation of structural morality as your ultimate professional anchor," the Rector stated.
Concurrently, the Director-General of Islamic Education, Prof. Sahiron, emphasized that modern state-certified educators must maintain an uncompromising commitment to upscaling their pedagogical competencies while actively shaping student character. He outlined three strategic directives: executing high-yield knowledge transformation, building resilient student character, and maintaining continuous self-development to synchronize with shifting global educational technologies.
Furthermore, the Director of Teacher Development, Dr. Fesal Musaad, noted that modern educators must pioneer four central domains: spiritual empathy, critical and evaluative intellectual capacity, physical stamina, and professional resilience. He asserted that a teacher’s holistic physical and mental well-being serves as a core tool to drive a positive impact across national schools.
The PPG curriculum at UIN Jakarta is deliberately engineered to arm educators with advanced instructional techniques, high technological adaptability, and modern classroom management strategies.
To guarantee that this massive network of educators does not experience skill stagnation post-graduation, FITK UIN Jakarta officially launched ShareHub PPG. This specialized digital ecosystem operates as a cloud-based collaborative platform for alumni to securely share advanced lesson plans, peer-reviewed best practices, digital learning materials, and engage in lifetime Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
Through the mass certification of Batch 4 and the deployment of the ShareHub platform, FITK UIN Jakarta empirically proves its capacity to drive scalable educational reforms, ensuring that state-certified teachers remain at the absolute vanguard of adaptive, values-based global education.
