UIN Jakarta becomes pilot project for student cooperatives rebranding program
Rectorate, UIN News Online – UIN Jakarta, along with other 5 universities will become a pilot project for student cooperatives rebranding program.
This was said by the Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis during the opening of entrepreneurship seminar titled “Sinergitas Program Dana Bergulir untuk Penguatan Kewirausahaan Inkubasi Bisnis UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta di Era Revolusi 4.0”, held at RSU, campus I of UIN Jakarta, Monday (01/27/2020).
Present in the event, Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis, General and legal director of Revolving Fund Management Agency for SMEs and Cooperatives (LPDB-KUMKM) Jaenal Aripin, Head of PPM UIN Jakarta Kamarusdiana, and the chief executive of BMT Syahida Euis Amalia.
Rector in her remarks The Chancellor said that UIN Jakarta had begun to carry out entrepreneurship programs. “We will encourage all potentials in UIN, ranging from the Center for Business Development, student cooperatives, and employee cooperatives,” said Rector.
UIN Jakarta, she continue, is the only PTKIN that become a pilot project in the student cooperatives rebranding program launched by LPDB-KUMKM.
“UIN Jakarta will support the improvement and the necessary policies, so that the program implementation will goes as planned,” she said.
On the same occasion, the LPDB-KUMKM’s General and legal director Jaenal Aripin said that UIN Jakarta will run this program in two ways. The first is to encourage the spirit of entrepreneurship through Student Cooperatives (Kopma). The second, we will encourage the PPM UIN Jakarta to promote economic empowerment programs through cooperative partners who will later be specifically guided by LPDB
“So, the maximum function in the field of economic empowerment will be carried out by PPM UIN Jakarta. Hopefully the program will goes as planned,” he concludes. (usa)
