UIN Jakarta appoints new faculty Deans

Main Auditorium, UIN News Online – Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis inaugurates 12 new Deans, Director of graduate school (SPs) of UIN Jakarta, and Head of Institutions for the period of 2019-2023 on Monday (03/11/2019), at Harun Nasution Auditorium, Campus I of UIN Jakarta.

Rector in her speech hopes that the new Deans would be able to follow the rhythm of faculty development that had been started by previous Deans. Rector also expects the support and cooperation of the new Deans to realize a better future for UIN Jakarta. “The new Deans need to cooperate with all parties for the development of UIN Jakarta,” said Amany.

Amany also expressed her gratitude to the former Deans for their hard work and dedication.

The new appointed Deans are Ali Munhanif (Dean of Faculty of Social and Political Sciences), A Tholabi (Dean of Faculty of Sharia and Law), Saiful Umam (Dean of Faculty of Adab and Humanities), Lili Soraya (Dean of Faculty of Sceinces and Technology), A Syirozi Dimyati (Dean of Faculty of Dirasat Islamiyah), Suparto (Dean of Faculty of Da’wa and Communication Sciences) Amilin (Dean of Faculty of Economic and Business), Sururin (Dean of Faculty of Tarbiya and Teaching Sciences), Hary Hendarto (Dean of Faculty of Medicine), Zilhajiyah (Dean of Faculty of Health Sciences), Yusuf Rahman (Dean of Faculty of Ushuluddin), Zahrotun Nihayah (Dean of Faculty of Psychology), and Jamhari as the Director of graduate school (SPs) of UIN Jakarta.

In addition to the Deans and Director of SPs, Rector of UIN Jakarta also appointed two Head of Institutions; they are Jajang Jahroni as the Head of Institute for Research and Community Outreach (LP2M), and Asep Saefudin Jahar as the Head of Quality Assurance Institute (LPM).

For information, the inauguration ceremony was also witnessed by Vice Rectors, Professors, Heads of Institutions, Bureau Chiefs, Section Heads, Sub-section heads, and all academic community of UIN Jakarta. (usa)
