UIN Jakarta and IBTS to Host "Road to Islamic Digital Transformation Forum 2025"
Rectorate, UIN News Online – UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, in collaboration with Indonesia Business Trade Solutions (IBTS), is set to host the "Road to Islamic Digital Transformation Forum 2025," an event aimed at positioning Indonesian universities on the global stage. Taking place on Friday, (18/10/2024), at the Harun Nasution Auditorium, this forum will explore how digital transformation can revolutionize higher education in Indonesia, fostering international competitiveness. With a focus on collaboration between education, industry, and government, the event promises to drive forward innovative solutions that will shape the future of Indonesian universities in the digital era.
With the theme “Digital Transformation in Higher Education: The Road to Global Economic Competitiveness”, the event aims to highlight the importance of digital transformation in higher education as a key driver for enhancing the global competitiveness of Indonesian universities. It will also foster collaboration between the education sector, industry, and the government to accelerate the implementation of digital technologies. Moreover, the forum will provide a platform for leaders, practitioners, and innovators to discuss the economic impact of technology on global competitiveness. It seeks to identify policy strategies and technology implementation methods that will strengthen Indonesia's position in the global education arena through digital advancements. Furthermore, the forum supports the national vision of creating a "Golden Generation" of future leaders who are both Islamic and well-prepared to face technological challenges.
Prominent keynote speakers include Budi Arie Setiadi, S.Sos., M.Si, Minister of Communication and Information Technology of Indonesia, Sandiaga Uno, Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Peter F. Gontha, Independent Commissioner of Indonesia Business Trade Solutions & Digital Transformation Innovator, Dodi S. Abdulkadir, Legal Practitioner at MR & Partners and IBTS, and Slamet Aji Pamungkas, Deputy for Cybersecurity and Cryptography in Economic Affairs.
The forum will also feature several distinguished speakers such as Rosa Permata Sari, Director of Strategy & Business Development at PGN, Fithra Faisal, Economist at Samuel Sekuritas Indonesia and Lecturer at FEB UI, Prof. Siti Nur Azizah Ma’ruf Amin, Chairwoman of the Indonesian Muslim Businesswomen Association, Sigit PW Jarrot, Head of National Telecommunications Infrastructure at Mastel (Telecommunications Society), Anggawira, Secretary General of BPP HIPMI, and Muhammad Arif, Chairman of the Indonesian Internet Service Providers Association (APJII).
