UIN Jakarta Allocates Grants for 153 Research Proposals

Rectorate, UIN News Online – UIN Jakarta decided to allocate grants for 153 research proposals submitted by lecturers and researchers from various faculties. The allocation of grants sourced from the BOPTN budget is expected to assist researchers in producing patents and research works published in accredited national journals and recognized international journals.

Based on official information submitted by Puslitpen UIN Jakarta, Friday (03/18/2022), this decision is stated in the UIN Jakarta’s Proxy of Budget User decree Number 223 of 2022.

“Congratulations to the recipients of the BOPTN Research Financing Fund of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah 2022. Information regarding the Research Kick off activity and the signing of the Work Agreement (SPK) will be delivered later,” said the head of Puslitpen UIN Jakarta Imam Subchi.

Meanwhile, the 153 research proposals were divided into a number of clusters. In the capacity building research cluster with a grant value of IDR 20 million per proposal, 40 research proposals were selected so that the total funding grant was allocated to IDR 800 million.

Then, the basic interdisciplinary research cluster with a grant value of IDR 40 million per proposal. In this cluster 64 research proposals were selected with a total grant of IDR 2.56 billion.

Furthermore, the higher education development research cluster with a grant value of IDR 60 million. In this cluster, 30 research proposals were selected so that the total allocated research grants reached IDR 1.8 billion and collaborative research clusters between universities with a grant value of IDR 80 million, 19 research proposal titles were selected with a total grant value of IDR 1.52 billion.

Imam emphasized that the research would produce patents and research articles published in accredited national journals and recognized international journals. In addition, research activities are also expected to involve students as part of their learning process. (zm/usa)
