UIN Jakarta achieves 3 ADIKTIS awards
Jakarta, UIN News online – The Indonesian ministry of religious affairs, through directorate general of higher education awarded a number of Islamic religious colleges (PTKI) throughout Indonesia at the 2020 Islamic Religious Higher Education Appreciation (ADIKTIS) event, held at the Mercure Hotel, Jakarta, Wednesday (30/12/2020).
The 2020 ADIKSTIS award ceremony was attended by the Minister of Religion Yaqut Cholil Qaumas, Director General of Islamic Education Muhammad Ali Ramdhani, Secretary General of the Ministry of Religion Nizar Ali, Director of Islamic Higher Education Suyatno, and PTKI Rectors throughout Indonesia.
In the ADIKTIS event, there were 10 PTKIs that received awards, one of which was a private Islamic religious college.
UIN Jakarta received at least three awards, namely "PTKI with the highest percentage of an “A” accreditation status for study programs" (based on national level accreditation data), "PTKI with the most professors" (based on active professors availability data), and "PTKI with Most Reputable Journals" (Based on world journal ranking and technology index).
On this occasion, the Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis told UIN News Online that she was very proud of the accomplishment. “This is the result of the hard work of all academicians, both within the rectorate and faculty/institute. Therefore, we must work even harder to maintain the reputation of UIN Jakarta, both at the national and international levels. Hopefully in the next 2021 UIN Jakarta will get more awards,” said Rector Amany.
For information, Rector Amany Lubis who represented the UIN Jakarta academic community received the three awards directly. The first award was given by the Secretary General Nizar Ali, while the second and third awards were given by the Minister of Religion Yaqut Cholil Qoumas. However, the third award was represented by the Head of the Organization, Personnel, and Legislation Division of UIN Jakarta Azizah. (usa/ns)
