UIN Jakarta 2026 Pre-Leadership Meeting Discusses Performance Evaluation of Six Strategic Commissions

Ciputat, UIN News Online — Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta continued the 2026 Pre-Leadership Meeting by focusing on the evaluation of performance across six strategic commissions. The agenda served as a key forum to assess institutional progress and formulate follow-up strategies for strengthening university governance and development.

Held at Syahida Inn on Monday–Tuesday, 2–3 February 2026, the meeting brought together university leaders, faculty representatives, and administrative units to review the outcomes of commission-based discussions conducted on the first day of the forum.

The six strategic commissions previously established cover priority areas of institutional transformation, including Green Campus development, bureaucratic reform toward PTNBH status, strengthening university business units, internationalization, research and community service enhancement, and digital transformation of academic systems.

UIN Jakarta Rector, Prof. Asep Saepudin Jahar, M.A., Ph.D., emphasized that the evaluation stage is essential to ensure that all strategic recommendations are measurable and aligned with the university’s long-term development goals.

“This evaluation process is crucial to ensure that every commission’s output is not only conceptual but also implementable and impactful for the university’s transformation,” he stated.

During the session, each commission presented its findings, identifying achievements, challenges, and proposed strategic actions for 2026 implementation. The discussions highlighted the importance of cross-unit collaboration, data-driven decision-making, and stronger institutional coordination.

Participants also emphasized that strengthening governance requires consistency in execution, particularly in accelerating digital transformation, improving research output, and expanding international collaboration networks.

The forum concluded with a consolidation of all commission reports into the university’s 2026 strategic roadmap, which will serve as a reference for policy implementation across units.

Through this process, UIN Jakarta reaffirmed its commitment to building a more adaptive, accountable, and globally competitive higher education institution as it advances toward PTNBH status.
