Uin Held a “Buka Puasa” to Strengthen the Silaturrahim

Masjid Al-Jami'ah, UIN NEWS Online-- UIN Jakarta organized an ifthar together, Thursday (6/23/16) at the Masjid al-Jami'ah Student Center (SC). The activity was implemented in order to strengthen the silaturrahim among academicians at UIN Jakarta.

This was conveyed by the Rector of UIN Jakarta, Prof Dr Dede Rosyada MA current giving a speech at the event. He added that the month of fasting is the best month and time to improve the relations between everyone, and each and everyone to forgive one another.

"Thank God, today we are back to break our fast together. Let us complete our pasting, and improve our silaturrahim and continue to cleans ourselves," he said, "On behalf of the leadership of UIN Jakarta I thank.”

All faculties and staff who never reduced productivity during the month of Ramadan. Hopefully this jama'i ifthar will be blessed from God SWT, he added.

In the same occasion, a lecture was delivered by the Chairman of the Senate Kultum UIN Jakarta Prof Dr M Atho Mudzhar MA while waiting for the Maghrib Athaan reverberation. After that, the event continued with ifthar and Maghrib prayers in congregation.

Also present at the event Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Dr Fadhilah Suralaga MSi, Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, Prof Dr Yusran Razak MA, Vice Rector for Cooperation, Prof Dr Murodi MAg, the Dean of the Faculty, Vice Dean, the Bureau Chief, Head of Section, Faculty, employees, students and invited guests.
