Triumphant Seminar on Study and Internship Scholarships in Taiwan 2025: Opening a Window to a Bright Future

UIN Jakarta, May 21, 2024 – In an atmosphere filled with positive energy, the Seminar on Study and Internship Scholarships in Taiwan for 2025 was successfully held. This event was a collaboration between PLKI UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta and the Taiwan Education Center (TEC) Indonesia. The Diorama Room at UIN Jakarta was packed with hundreds of enthusiastic students, showing remarkable excitement.

The Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, Prof. Ali Munhanif, M.A., Ph.D., in his opening speech, highly praised the TEC team for being a beacon of knowledge, providing information, motivation, and enlightenment to UIN Jakarta students. He emphasized that understanding scholarships is not just the key to opening the door to international universities but also a compass to help students navigate their study or career choices after graduation.

Prof. Ali encouraged students to view UIN Syarif as a window to broaden their horizons, showing that UIN Syarif is not just a place to study but also a platform for self-development and reaching their maximum potential. He is optimistic that UIN will grow better through broader international cooperation and believes that Taiwan offers quality education.

Taiwan, known for offering education on par with the US and Europe at affordable costs, is also friendly towards Muslims, with good infrastructure supporting student life. Ten universities in Taiwan are ranked in the QS rankings, indicating that Taiwanese universities have high and internationally recognized educational standards.

The seminar also shed light on the higher education system in Taiwan. It provided information on how to apply to universities in Taiwan, strategies for obtaining scholarships, and the facilities available through scholarships. This is very useful for students interested in continuing their studies in Taiwan. Thus, this seminar becomes a bridge to a bright future for the students.
