Tribute to Muhammad Maulana Syahara: UIN Jakarta Alumnus Who Graduated With Honor

Harun Nasution Auditorium , UIN Online News - A moment of silence was experienced at the open senate meeting of the 135th graduation ceremony of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta because a student passed away before he received his degree.

Muhammad Maulana Syahara, a student in the Physics Study Program at the Faculty of Science and Technology, was recognized for his diligence and enthusiasm. He ought to have been among the graduates commemorating his academic accomplishment, but he could not make it on Sunday (26/05/2024).

His absence caused grief among family, friends, and colleagues on campus, making the whole academic community of UIN Jakarta extend genuine condolences for the demise of the deceased and provide assistance to the grieving family.

In recognition of his effort, Maulana's diploma is presented to his closest family, Novia Viogita Syahara, the deceased's elder sister.

This became a sign of recognition for the efforts and accomplishments that Muhammad Maulana Syahara had achieved throughout his studies in the Physics Study Program at the Faculty of Science and Technology.

"He had frequently provided me with valuable guidance during my research and he had always been generous to us and consistently willing to assist anyone in need. Maulana was such a good man,” Teuku Muhammad Nur Harun, one of Syahara's comrades, conveyed.

As reported by UIN Online News, he was a member of the Syahid Campus Da'wah Institute (LDKS), a Student Activity Unit of UIN Jakarta. His participation in several social and religious endeavors had established him as an inspirational and compassionate individual.
