To Promote the “Green Campus” Program, UIN Jakarta Holds Clean Friday Activity
Rectorate, UIN News Online – UIN Jakarta held a campus clean-up. The action was held on Friday (06/10/2022) morning by the leadership as well as all employees and lecturers. The campus cleaning action is not only a routine program, but also serve as a support for the acceleration of the "Green Campus" program at UIN Jakarta.
“Campus cleaning activities must be used as a positive culture by the academic community, so that the campus becomes beautiful, healthy, and comfortable. This is in accordance with religious orders that cleanliness is part of faith,” said the Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis.
The clean Friday movement took place simultaneously in all campuses, from the rectorate building to faculties and institutions. Almost all employees and lecturers were involved, they work hand in hand to clean the yard and the room.
Rector Amany Lubis who was accompanied by the Vice Rector for General Administration Ahmad Rodoni was seen busy cleaning the yard in the Rectorate Building area. They are seen pulling the lawn grass that clogs the water absorption.
After that, the Chancellor headed to several locations for the Clean Friday program, both on campus I and campuses II, III, and IV.
“UIN Jakarta campus must be beautiful and always clean,” said Amany.
According to the Rector, UIN Jakarta campus should be a good example in the field of cleanliness. Even the smallest trash should not be thrown away carelessly.
Therefore, all members of the academic community should participate in the cleaning program which is always held on campus.
“We want UIN Jakarta to be a clean and green campus,” she said. (ns/usa)
