To discuss potential collaboration, Turkish Ambasaddor to Indonesia visits UIN Jakarta

Rectorate, UIN News Online – To maintain good relations between the Turkish Government and UIN Jakarta, Turkish Ambasaddor to Indonesia H.E. Aşkın Asan visits UIN Jakarta, Friday (18/02/2022).

Her visit was welcomed by the Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis, accompanied by Vice Rector for General Administration Ahmad Rodoni, Vice Rector for Student Affairs Arief Subhan and AAKK Bureau Chief Jaenuddin.

At the meeting, Asan explained that the purpose of her visit is to discuss the collaborative potential  between UIN Jakarta and universities in Turkey. She is also amazed with various UIN Jakarta’s national and international achievements.

“Hopefully there will be many collaborations between UIN Jakarta and universities in Turkey,” said Asan.

In addition to universities in Turkey, Asan also said that her party also ready to bridge academic collaborations between UIN Jakarta and Uzbekistan. “One of academic collaboration that can be carried out is sandwich program,” she said.

In response, Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis  said that UIN Jakarta always welcomed various collaborative opportunities with various institutions in the fields of academic and research. She also added that UIN Jakarta also accepted students from various countries including Turkey to study at UIN Jakarta.

 “UIN Jakarta has dozens of study programs, both Islamic and secular sciences,” she said.

Therefore, Rector expressed her readiness to cooperate with universities in Turkey. “The collaboration is expected to enrich academic climate of all parties,” she said. (usa).
