To attract more international students, UIN Jakarta joins the IEF 2021
Rectorate, UIN News Online – In order to get more International students, especially from Central Asia region, to continue their education at UIN Jakarta, UIN Jakarta participate in the virtual International Education Fair (IEF) 2021, organized by BOLASHAQ Development Fund (BDF) Kazakhstan, Friday (03/26/2021).
Present in the event, the Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis, Vice Rector for Cooperation and Institutional Development Lily Surayya Eka Putri, and the Head of International Office (CIC) UIN Jakarta Dadi Darmadi.
Thde Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis in her foreword said that UIN Jakarta is the biggest State Islamic Higher Education Institution (PTKIN) in Indonesia and is considered as the window of Indonesian Islamic academic excellence.
“The study and research in UIN Jakarta have become the window of academic excellence in Indonesian Islam and international level. We also have a motto for our University as a university that integrate the knowledge, Islam, humanity, modernity, and all things related to Indonesia and the world,” said Rector Amany.
She also added that nowadays, UIN Jakarta have hundreds of international students coming from many different countries spread across 12 faculties and one graduate school.
Inline with the Rector, Vice Rector for Cooperation and Institutional Development Lily Surayya Eka Putri also said UIN Jakarta have so many facilities, especially for the international students.
“In addition to good academic atmosphere, UIN Jakarta also have many facilities, one of them is the International office (CIC) that will manages all the stuff that is needed by the international students. Hopefully in the next academic year, we can see you here in UIN Jakarta,” said Lily. (usa)
