The Rector Asked the Atikbud of the Indonesian Embassy to Promote PTKIN Education

Ciputat, UIN News Online – The Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis hopes that the Education and Culture Attaché in various countries to socialize the education offered by the State Islamic Higher Education Institution (PTKIN). According to Amany, various PTKIN in the country already have adequate infrastructure and superstructure for Islamic and scientific education.

This was said by Rector Amany at the opening of webinar entitled "International Academic Collaboration for PTKIN: Innovative Ideas and Solutions" on Thursday (11/19/2020). "We hope the Atikbud will offer of PTKIN education abroad. We, PTKIN in Indonesia are ready both in infrastructure and superstructure," she said.

PTKIN like UIN Jakarta, she said, has a comprehensive scientific study program supported by a teaching system and expert teaching resources from various backgrounds. UIN Jakarta itself has 78 study programs based on Islam, social, humanities, and exact sciences.

Apart from educational programs, she continued, PTKIN could also be offered as a target for the Visiting Professor program as well as industrial partnerships.

"UIN Jakarta has repeatedly been used as a research partner in various scientific fields by foreign researchers," she said.

In addition, PTKIN is also ready to collaborate with scientific and technological development partnerships. This is evidenced by the large number of general scientific study programs that are also offered by PTKIN.

“UIN Jakarta, for example, has a Bachelor of Mining Engineering Engineering Study Program that focuses on developing renewable energy studies,” she added.
