The British Council Holds IELTS Preparation and Simulation

Diorama Room, UIN News Online – UIN Jakarta through Center for International Cooperation (CIC), in collaboration with The British Council holds Workshop for IELTS Preparation and Simulation for both students and lecturers of UIN Jakarta, Tuesday, (03/06/2018) at Diuorama Room, Campus I of UIN Jakarta.

The head of CIC UIN Jakarta Rachmat Baihaky MA to UIN News online said this activity is intended to introduce IELTS and all materials will be delivered by the British Council team.

“They will deliver tips on how to get the required IELTS score by simulating the IELTS test,” said Rachmat.

According to Rachmat, this test will help the participants in measuring their English language skills as a prerequisite to study abroad.

Separately, The British Council representative, Aria said that this simulation could help the participants to determine their English proficiency skills level. “By participating in this simulation, they will able to see their English proficiency level,” he said.

The simulation itself is divided into four sessions, listening, reading, writing and speaking.

For information, the IELTS test is the world’s most popular English language test. The IELTS test assesses all of the English skills necessary for academic purposes or for living abroad. (usa)
