The Best 137th Graduates of UIN Jakarta Speak Youth Spirit for a Better Indonesia
Auditorium Harun Nasution, UIN Online News — UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta officially conferred degrees upon 2,916 graduates at its 137th Graduation Ceremony for the 2024/2025 Academic Year, comprising undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral programs. The ceremony took place at the Harun Nasution Auditorium on Saturday (August 30, 2025).
Of the total graduates, 765 were from three faculties: Faculty of Sharia and Law (266 graduates), Faculty of Economics and Business (373 graduates), and Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (126 graduates).
At the postgraduate level, the Best Graduate award was presented to Jihan Inayah from the Master’s Program in Sharia Economic Law, with a GPA of 3.93, cum laude. Meanwhile, at the undergraduate level, the Best Graduate title was awarded to Haikal Rizky Hakim from the Law Studies Program, Faculty of Sharia and Law, with a GPA of 3.99, cum laude.
From the Faculty of Economics and Business, Annisa Dinda Rahmasari, a graduate of the Sharia Economics Program, achieved a GPA of 3.98, cum laude, while from the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Muhammad Adam Gustian from the Sociology Program earned a GPA of 3.98, cum laude.
Representing the graduates, Annisa Dinda Rahmasari delivered a heartfelt speech expressing her pride in graduating from UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta.
“On behalf of my fellow graduates, I would like to express our deepest respect and gratitude to everyone who has supported us throughout our academic journey. Becoming a graduate of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta is an honor for us, because this is where our dreams for a future full of hope and aspirations began,” she said.
She also highlighted the inevitability of technological advancements and the importance of facing them with readiness and understanding. She emphasized that digital transformation is not merely a technological trend but part of a major shift affecting human life.
“Digital innovation continues to grow rapidly. We are faced with both a challenge and an opportunity—namely the era of the Industrial Revolution 5.0, or Society 5.0. This concept places humans at the center, meaning society’s progress must be guided by human roles as a balance between sustainable economic development and solving social issues through systems that integrate artificial intelligence with human intelligence,” she explained.
She underlined that a degree is not only a symbol of academic achievement but also a responsibility to continue learning, growing, and making a real contribution.
“The degree we receive is not merely a mark of academic success but also a responsibility—to keep learning, keep growing, and contribute meaningfully to the progress of civilization and our nation,” she concluded.
