The Ambasador of Qatar Visits UIN Jakarta

RSU, UIN News Online – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Indonesia H.E.Mr.Ahmed Bin Jassim Alhamar, accompanied by Chairman of the Board of Trustees Humanitarian Funds of INSANIA Sheikh Dr.Abdul Aziz Bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani, Director of Communication and Information Administration of INSANIA Mr. Mohanad Al-Shourbaji, and Director Chairman Office - Director of Financial Resources Development of INSANIA Mr. Othman Abdel Qader visits UIN Jakarta on Thursday, (01/10/2019).

Their visit was warmly welcomed by the Rector of UIN Jakarta Prof Dr Hj Amany Lubis. Also present in the meeting, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Dr Fadhilah Suralaga, Vice Rector for Student Affairs Prof Dr Yusran Razak, Vice Rector for Institutional Development and Cooperation Prof Dr Murodi, Dean of Ushuluddin Faculty Masri Mansoer, Dean of Da’wa and Communication Science Faculty Arief Subhan, Dekan of Sharia and Law Faculty Asep Saepuddin Jahar, Dekan of Social and Political Science Faculty Zulkifli, Dean of Dirasat Islamiyah Faculty Hamka Hasan, Dean of Economics and Business Faculty Arief Mufraini, Dean of Medicine Faculty Hari Hendarto, Dean of Science and Technology Agus Salim, as well as heads of institutions and Bureau Chiefs.

In addition to congratulating on the election of Amany Lubis as Rector of UIN Jakarta, Alhamar's visit was also to explore cooperation in the academic field and improve the quality of human resources.

In response, Amany hoped that the visit could strengthen the bilateral relations between Indonesia and Qatar, especially cooperation with UIN Jakarta.

A brief meeting between the Chancellor and the Ambassador of Qatar Alhamar only lasted about one hour. After that, Alhamar immediately returned to his office in Jakarta. (usa)
