Main Auditorium, UIN News Online – UIN Jakarta held a rehearsal for the 105th inauguration ceremony for 751 graduates from all faculties and graduate school (SPs) of UIN Jakarta, Monday (8/28/2017) at Harun Nasution Main Auditorium, Campus I UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, Jl. Ir. H. Juanda No. 95, Ciputat, South Tangerang.

The rehearsal is led by the Head of Academic Administration and Cooperation (BAAKK) Drs. H. Zaenal Arifin, M.Pd.I, Head of Academic Affairs Division Ir. Yarsi Berlianti, Subdivision Head of Documentary and Publication Feni Ariafiani, SH., MH, documentary and publication staff Eva Nauli Aprila Sm.HK and others.

The rehearsal was held to provide guidance and simulation for the graduate candidates. “The graduation ceremony will be divided into two sessions, on Tuesday and Wednesday. The rehearsals are held to keep things running smoothly,” said Zainal.

For Tuesday, (August 29th) graduation ceremony will be held for the graduates from the Faculty of Educatonal Sciences (173 graduates), Faculty of Sharia and Law (76 graduates), Faculty of Islamic Studies (15 graduates), faculty of Sciences and Technology (44 graduates), and Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (72 graduates).

On Wednesday, (August 30th), Faculty of Literature and Humanities (56 graduates), Faculty of Islamic Theology (11 graduates), Faculty of Da’wa and Communication Sciences (51 graduates), Faculty of Psychology (31 graduates), Faculty of Economics and Business (105 graduates), Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (94 graduates), and 27 students from the Graduate School.

Technically, the 105th graduation ceremony is not much different from the previous graduation, which held only for a day. This is because the number of graduates reached 751 people, not including their parents or the guardia, then it decided to split the event for two days. “The ceremony is divided into Tuesday and Wednesday in order to maintain the ceremonial quality as well as to provide excellent service for the graduates and their family.” added Zainal.
