Teater Syahid Managed to Win the Dramakala Fest 2017
Ciputat, UIN News Online – UIN Jakarta Student Activity Unit (UKM) Teater Syahid managed to obtained the best Theater Group and the best actress at the 6th National Drama Festival, Dramakala Fest 2017 at STIKOM London School of Public Relation (LSPR), Jakarta.
It was conveyed by the chairman of Teater Syahid UIN Jakarta Fadli Rudiansyah to UIN News Online on Friday, (3/10). “Alhamdulillah, Teater Syahid managed to win the festival,†he said.
In that event, Teater Syahid performed the Wishing Chong’s short drama entitled Heart of the Almond Jelly. The script was adapted so that it can be staged in a short drama. Teater Syahid entrusted the roles to Nurmala as Sayako and Khairul Fiqi Firmansyah as Tatsuro.
Heart of the Almond Jelly itself tells about the married and divorced life between Japanese couple, Sayako and Tatsuro. The decision to divorce is taken as a last resort after many conflicts present in their household. Starting from Sayoko who traumatized by her broken home family background, and the unemployed Tatsuro.
Dramakala Fest itself is an annual event held by Indonesian Drama Educators Association (IDEAL), an association formed by STIKOM London School of Public Relations Jakarta drama educator. The festival itself is carried out as a part of tabloid Media Teater Dramakala birthday which falls on February 18th. (rs)
