Supporting Asset Governance, Ministry of Religious Affairs Inspectorate General Attends UIN Jakarta Integration Forum

Rectorate Building, UIN Online News — UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta continues to accelerate institutional integration with three foundations that have long been strategic partners in educational development. A follow-up meeting was held with the leaders of Yayasan Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta (managing Madrasah Pembangunan), Yayasan Triguna Utama, and Yayasan Ketilang Insan Mandiri.

The meeting, held in Jakarta on Wednesday (June 25, 2025), was attended by the Head of the Finance and State Property Bureau, the Head of the Legal and Foreign Cooperation Bureau, and the Inspectorate General of the Ministry of Religious Affairs. The presence of these parties signifies concrete support for an integration process that prioritizes collaborative principles and a familial approach.

Each party presented academic manuscript reviews and integration concepts during the meeting. These studies serve as a shared foundation for unifying governance and strengthening the institutions comprehensively.

Inspector IV of the Ministry of Religious Affairs Inspectorate General, Moh. Isom, deemed this forum highly strategic as a concrete step to strengthen accountability and state asset governance. “This meeting is an implementation of the mandate of Articles 18 and 24 of PMA 41/2016 concerning Internal Supervision within the Ministry of Religious Affairs,” he stated.

According to him, the integration process not only strengthens transparency but also opens up avenues for innovation in campus financial management. “With its BLU status, UIN Syahid has great opportunities to develop supporting units efficiently and with added value,” explained Isom.

He also appreciated the spirit of all parties to continue seeking joint solutions. “We are optimistic that various technical issues, such as the management of official residences, can be resolved with a solution-oriented and constructive approach,” he asserted.

Head of the Legal and Foreign Cooperation Bureau, Imam Syaukani, emphasized the importance of shared vision and collaborative spirit in supporting the integration process. All foundations expressed their commitment to active involvement while maintaining a spirit of deliberation and consensus.

During the meeting, a proposal emerged for the formation of an Integration Team through a Rector's Decree. This team will serve as the driving force for accelerating the integration process with more systematic and targeted coordination.

Head of the Finance and State Property Bureau, Ahmad Hidayatullah, welcomed the input from the foundation leaders. He hoped that the presented studies would serve as a strong initial footing for moving towards the finalization stage.

Ahmad also proposed that the Ministry of Religious Affairs Inspectorate General conduct a comprehensive review of state-owned assets within UIN Syahid. “This step will strengthen legal certainty and the accuracy of asset recording in the future,” he concluded.

Vice Rector for General Administration of UIN Jakarta, Prof. Dr. Imam Subchi, M.A., appreciated the support from the Ministry of Religious Affairs in promoting the integration of the foundations into UIN Jakarta. According to him, this institutional integration is part of UIN's major effort to strengthen transparent and accountable governance. “The support from the Ministry of Religious Affairs is a crucial factor in accelerating this integration,” he added.
