Studying at UIN Jakarta with KIP-K Scholarship, Here are the Requirements Needed

Jakarta, UIN Online News - In order to enhance the educational quality for future beneficiaries of the Smart Indonesia Card for College Student (KIP-K) in 2025, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology conducted a webinar to initiate KIP-K registration through a live broadcast on the Kemdiktisaintek YouTube channel on Tuesday (04/02/2025).

The KIP-K Scholarship is an advancement of the BIDIKMISI Scholarship program which has been active since 2010, with the objective of enhancing equal opportunities to education for children from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

The Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, Prof. Ir. Satryo Soemantri Brodjonegoro, M.Sc., Ph.D., expressed his aspirations. "I hope that this KIP-K scholarship program benefit the younger generation of Indonesia and produce outstanding competitive, and well character human resources," he said.

Zaenal Muttaqin B.Th., M.R.E., Head of the Information and Public Relations Center, responded to the commencement of KIP-K Registration 2025 on UIN Online News.

"The commencement of KIP-K scholarship registration for 2025 motivates all prospective new students of UIN Jakarta to prepare the required qualifications and conditions for application," he said.

The important process for registering for KIP-K 2025 is listed below:

KIP-K 2025 Admission Requirements

1. High School/Vocational High School/Equivalent Graduates in 2025, 2024, 2023.
2. Passed the selection for new student admissions at State or Private Universities.
3. Good academic potential but strugglling on economic limitations.

Priority of KIP-K Recipient Students

1. High School KIP holders.
2. Member of families that are included in the Integrated Social Welfare Data (DTKS).
3. Part of the poor/vulnerable poor community group at most in the third densile of the Family Basic Needs Fulfillment Protection Program (P3KE).
4. Part of the social institutions/orphanages.
5. Applicant who meets the equirements for being poor/vulnerable to poverty in accordance with the provisions based on a gross income of IDR 4,000,000/month or with a Certificate of Economic Disability (SKTM).

Advantages of KIP-K

1. Exemption of registration fees for the SNBT-UTBK entrance selection at universities.
2. Exemption of education fees (UKT/SPP) which will be paid directly to the university account.
3. Cost of living assistance.

KIP-K Account Registration Schedule

1. KIP-K Account Registration : February 3, 2025
2. Selection : July 1 - October 31 2025
3. Determination of new recipients : July 1 - October 31, 2025.

KIP-K Registration Stages

1. Register on the page https://kip-kuliah.kemdiktisaintek.go.id and input your NISN, NPSN, NIK, and email.
2. Validate your NIK, NISN, NPSN to the Database for Primary and Secondary Education (Dapodik Kemdikdasmen).
3. Registration number and access code will be sent via email.
4. Final submission by completing the registration files and choosing the selection path to be followed.
5. University Admission Entrance Selection.
6. Verification by College.
