FEB, UIN News Online – Students of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UIN Jakarta continue to record achievements at the national level. The faculty leaders hope that these various accomplihments can continue to motivate them to improve their quality in order to achieve a better future.
The official release of FEB UIN Jakarta compiled by BERITA UIN Online, Monday (09/06/2021) stated that the last two national level accomplishment were achieved at the National Business Plan Competition SINATION 2021 (August 29th 2021) and the National Accounting Olympic (August 16-19th 2021).
The first championship was held by the Agricultural Socio-Economic Student Association (HIMASETA) of the University of Jember and attended by many teams from various universities. In this championship, FEB students through the Semi Autonomous Entrepreneur Learning Center sent a team of delegates consisting of Miftahul Andriani (Management Department/Class of 2019), Siti Rohmah (Accounting Department/Class of 2020), and Nurlita Sukma Luthfia (Class of 2020 Management Department). They managed to achieve the third best position at the national level.
In this championship, a delegation called ECO TEAM offered a business idea called ECOBISH. This business idea offers an idea for a plastic waste processing business that operates through a user-friendly digital-based application.
This idea is motivated by the increasing number of non-biodegradable materials that don't break down easily. The amount of waste causes various problems if not disposed of properly. Non-biodegradable waste can cause pollution, block drains and harm animals.
“Therefore, Ecobish provides a solution to reduce and increase the benefits of plastic waste by recycling the created plastic waste into products such as tables and sofas,” said the release.
At the National Accounting Olympic championship on August 16-19th, FEB UIN Jakarta students managed to become the best nationally by eleminating competitors from various universities. At the event held by the Sharia Accounting Department Student Association (HMJ) of UIN Semarang, FEB UIN Jakarta students were represented by the Serendipity team consisting of Siddiqoh and Wulan Amelia.
Deputy Dean for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Cooperation Mohammad Nur Rianto Al Arif positively appreciated the students who continued to record various accomplishments. He hopes that it can continue to motivate FEB students to keep their spirits up and improve their achievements even better.
“Hopefully the business plan ideas presented can be realized in a real business and can provide benefits for the community,” he said. (usa/zm)
